Cambodia: Angkor

Bas-reliefs

Well preserved bas-reliefs on temple walls show royalty, mythologies,  battles with weapons and armor, often with warriors on elephants. But they also show, in marvelous detail, the every day lives of ordinary people, their markets, food, activities, flora and fauna.
